We're constantly amazed by it, and we think you should know…the fine professionals who work at Skyline Salon are the most passionate people we've ever met. They find sources of inspiration in so many aspects of their lives and bring it to Skyline and to you! They come to the salon for education during their off hours, whether it be on Mondays when we are closed, or in the mornings before their shift starts or evenings after a long days work. This past weekend, they worked as a group styling models' hair and makeup for an Oribe competition so that Skyline would be represented amongst hundreds of salons from around the Country. That is how much they care and how much you benefit from their passion. We are thankful for your trust in us…for you are the reason we do what we do, so well.

Welcome to our first Skyline Blog entry. First things first...I have to tell you how much everyone here loves working at Skyline and sharing that love with you, our clients. Our goal is to make you feel great about coming here AND feel great about yourself when leaving Skyline. Thank you for giving us that opportunity.So, what have we been up to so far this year? Education is the theme for the beginning of 2011. It is important for us to stay up on the latest trends and techniques to keep your style looking fresh and relevant. We started out with a regional Bumble and bumble class, held here at Skyline Salon, learning about hair texture featuring the new Bumble and bumble Texture Creme. Everyone learned a lot and the new product is amazing. Most importantly, we had fun! Thanks Bumble and bumble!

This week, we have celebrity stylist, Dennis Stokely, in town giving Skyline Salon Stylists a master class on Hair U Wear Clip-in extensions. If you're a Skyline facebook fan you've heard and seen all about it, I'm sure! But, it's hard to contain excitment when the whole salon is buzzing with great energy brought on by all this fun activity! Carmen and I met Dennis at the American Idol auditions, held here at the salon in 2008, where he was rockin out Paula Abdul's hair for the camera. Dennis has been a blast this week, sharing his Southern charm with everyone he comes in contact with. He is truly one of a kind and we are thrilled that he is a friend of Skyline.
