The Industry came calling early. I spent the first nine years of my life on a five acre farm in Richmond, Mo where the summer breaks left you to entertain yourself. So when my mother left for work it was a free for all in her hat box of long expired Avon samples, Aquanet hairspray and mousse. A stylist was born! Luckily my family moved to the Kansas City area which meant new friends to play dress up with. Years later, a pair of kitchen scissors in hand at a Chiefs Sunday funday, I knew my calling- off to cosmetology school.
